About Our School

Mutchmor Public School is located on Fifth Avenue in the Glebe community. The building was originally built in 1895 and had an addition added to the original structure in 2014. Our students all attend our Early French Immersion program from kindergarten to grade 6. The school has a diverse student population where differences and unique identities are celebrated throughout our community.

Our dedicated staff are committed to fostering an environment that focuses on student safety, well being, and high academic achievement. Through culturally responsive teaching and learning, our students continue to work towards becoming culturally responsive citizens who are ethical, caring and responsible members of society.

Students

Mutchmor's students and families come from a variety of diverse backgrounds which are recognized and celebrated in our school. After students complete their grade 6 year, most students transition and attend Glashan Public School. Most students who choose to change to the regular English program, register at First Avenue Public School.
