Welcome to Mutchmor Avenue Public School!
It is with great joy and pride that I welcome you to our vibrant school community, nestled in the heart of the Glebe. We acknowledge that our learning, playing, and growing take place on the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin People, and we recognize their enduring presence on this land.
Mutchmor Public School offers full-day Kindergarten and Early French Immersion, serving approximately 425 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. We are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow.
We are proud to offer a dynamic French Immersion program that opens doors to bilingualism and cultural understanding. Whether your child is just beginning their educational journey in Kindergarten or preparing for their next steps in Grade 6, Mutchmor is a place where they will be encouraged to shine in both official languages.
Student well-being is at the centre of all we do at Mutchmor Avenue Public School. We believe that when children feel safe, valued, and confident, they are empowered to explore, learn, and thrive—both academically and personally. Our dedicated staff work together to create rich learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning, all while supporting each child’s social and emotional development.
Families are a vital part of our school community, and we deeply value the strong partnerships we build together. We are privileged to have a strong and dedicated parent community who collaborate and communicate closely with all stakeholders to create opportunities for fundraising and organizing a variety of school and community events. Our School Council meets in the evening of the third Wednesday of every month and all are welcome to attend.
We look forward to working with you to ensure every child receives the support and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.
Thank you for choosing to be part of the Mutchmor family. We’re so glad you’re here.
Warmly,
Sandy Miller
Principal
